The biggest change to the already ultra capable SVT Raptor in 2013 is the addition of beadlock-compatible alloy wheels directly from the factory. Beadlocks secure the edges of the tire between two surfaces, preventing the tire from rolling off the rim when off-roading with low tire pressure. A beadlock ring kit, available through Ford Racing, allows beadlock mounting on the factory wheels.
The addition of beadlock-compatible wheels to the F-150 Raptor make this off-road 4x4 even more capable straight from the factory. A front Torsen limited-slip differential, electronic-locking rear differential, and internal triple-bypass FOX Racing Shox dampers all still come standard on the Ford Raptor. The 2013 Raptor still packs the punch of the same 6.2-liter V-8; producing 411 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque. As with the current Raptor that engine continues to be mated in 2013 to a six-speed automatic transmission with a tow/haul mode and SelectShift Automatic feature.
