For 2011 Ford unveiled the Raptor SuperCrew model which has become the most popular. SVT engineers say the longer Raptor performs just as well off-road. The SuperCrew Raptor can tow up to 8000 pounds, approximately 2000 pounds more than a standard Raptor. For 2012, the biggest changes come in the form of a front Torsen differential and grille-mounted camera - both will significantly help with rock crawling. This SVT truck is now only offered with a 6.2-liter V-8 rated at 411 horsepower and 434 pounds-feet of torque. All F-150 Raptors come with Fox Racing shocks with internal-bypass dampers that give them 11.2 inches of front suspension travel and 12.1 inches of rear suspension travel which can soak up almost anything you'd think of throwing at them.
