Pinus strobus

Eastern white pine is a stately pine tree. The Pinus strobus is Ontario’s provincial tree and one of eastern North America's most commercially valuable trees.

Eastern White Pine were historically used by the British Navy for masts for sailing ships due to their height and straightness.

Large and majestic, the Eastern White Pine was a preferred subject of the Group of Seven.

Growing to an average height from 70 to 120 ft high the Eastern White Pine lives about 200 years.
