White Spruce

Picea glauca

White spruce is the northernmost tree species in North America. Also known as Canadian spruce, white spruce is the provincial tree of Manitoba.

The white spruce trees can live up to 200 years. The white spruce is a large coniferous evergreen tree that can grow up to 40 metres tall with a trunk diameter of up to 1 metre.
