Sorry folks its a fake. The photo of the sky and clouds was taken from a plane by Richard Silvera while the image of the Space Shuttle was sourced from NASA.

When I first saw this black and white photo of the Space Shuttle piercing the cloud cover I thought 'awesome!'. But when I looked into the image more I learned it was a montage
