After finding the great pilates workout from Boho Beautiful, i've continued to look into her content on both YouTube and her website. I ended up discovering a great 20 minute yoga workout class video, and decided to give it a shot. Yoga is one of my greater passions, and i've started to really get into pilates. What greater workout than a combination of both, right?
This specific video, called "Yogalates: Pilates Yoga Fusion" by Boho Beautiful, was shot in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, and features a 20 minute yogalates workout class. Yogalates are aimed at increasing tone and strengthen both the core and legs. It is a combination of pilates exercises, which i've just started to master, and yoga asanas.
Yogalates will not only get your heart racing (I know mine did!), but also help you strengthen your hamstrings, abs, glutes and obliques - all while increasing your flexibility and speeding up your metabolism. Doing this in the morning really wakes up your body.
Yogalates are the perfect combination between a hard workout and yoga practice. I'll be incorporating this into my morning routine and see what results I get in a few weeks!
