Chef Billy Grant's grilled lobster and cheese at Bricco in West Hartford, Connecticut, was named one of our best sandwiches in America several years back. Make it yourself at home with the recipe below. The recommended way to enjoy it, per our endorsement? Grilled Lobster & Cheese Sandwich Ingredients - 3 oz. claw and knuckle fresh lobster meat - 2 oz. sliced havarti cheese - 2 ea slices of sourdough loaf bread - ½ tsp. chopped mix of fresh thyme, tarragon and chervil - 2 tbs. unsalted butter - 2-3 slices of vine ripe tomato (optional) - Kosher salt and fresh ground black peppercorns to taste Method: Preheat oven to 450?F (or 425?F convection). Heat butter in large sauté pan over low to medium flame. When butter starts to foam arrange both pieces of bread side by side in sauté pan. While bread begins to slowly toast, assemble ingredients atop the bread slices. First place slices of havarti on each piece of bread. Next, place lobster meat on top of cheese of only one piece of bread and sprinkle with fresh herb blend. (Optional) Add sliced tomato to other piece of bread. Move sauté pan to oven once bread is lightly browned. Bake in oven for approximately 2-3 minutes, or until lobster meat is hot and cheese is melted. Combine both pieces of bread to form a sandwich and cut in half to present on plate. 2013-05-22 02:43:35 Roasted Cauliflower & Aged White Cheddar Soup Ingredients 1 small head cauliflower, cut into florets 2 tablespoons oil salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon oil 1 medium onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1 teaspoon thyme, chopped 3 cups vegetable broth or chicken broth or chicken stock * 1 1/2 cups aged white cheddar, shredded 1 cup milk or cream salt and pepper to taste Directions Toss the cauliflower florets in the oil along with the salt and pepper and arrange them in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Roast the cauliflower in a preheated 400F oven until lightly golden brown, about 20-30 minutes. Heat the oil in a large sauce pan over medium heat, add the onion and saute until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Add the garlic and thyme and saute until fragrant, about a minute. Add the broth, deglaze the pan, add the cauliflower, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Puree the soup until it reaches your desired consistency with a stick blender. Mix in the cheese, let it melt without bringing it to boil again. Mix in the milk, season with salt and pepper and remove from heat. *Note: The amount of broth that you are going to need will depend on how large your head of cauliflower is and how thick or thin you prefer the soup to be. 2013-05-22 02:43:00 Lace Wedding Dress with Open Back This lace dress with open back is another beautiful wedding dress. Starting on thick side of the breasts slice the chicken breasts almost in half, then open each like a book. Place each open breast between two pieces of plastic wrap, wax paper or inside a large, open, Ziploc bag. Using a small heavy pan, bottle or smooth meat mallet lightly pound out each breast into even thickness. Mix all remaining ingredients except fresh cilantro and limes. Add chicken and marinade to a large bowl or ziploc bag and chill in the refrigerator for up to two hours. Your chicken doesn’t take long to cook so you can use this time to get your dishes prepped and ready. Once you are ready to cook the chicken, remove each breast from the marinade. Pour the marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a rolling boil. Boil continuously for at least 2 minutes, stirring occasionally so it doesn’t burn. In a heavy skillet or grill pan, heat a splash of oil over high heat. Cook the chicken in batches to prevent over crowding the pan. Place the breasts in the hot pan and cook without turning for a couple minutes Flip the breasts over and cook until the other side is golden, it shouldn’t take long depending on the thickness of your chicken. Place cooked breasts on a plate in a warm oven or under foil while cooking the remaining chicken. Sprinkle with fresh lime juice and cilantro. Serve with sauce on the side. 2013-05-22 02:19:16 Crispy Cheddar Chicken Crispy Cheddar Chicken Time: 15 minute prep + 35 minutes baking Yield: 7 servings Chicken: 4 large chicken breasts 2 sleeves Ritz crackers 1/4 t salt 1/8 t pepper 1/2 C milk 3 C cheddar cheese, grated 1 t dried parsley Sauce: 1 10 ounce can cream of chicken soup 2 T sour cream 2 T butter 1. Cut each chicken breast into 3 large chunks. 2. In a small food processor grind up the ritz crackers. 3. Pour the milk, cheese and cracker crumbs into 3 separate small pans. Toss the 1/4 t salt and 1/8 t pepper into the cracker crumbs and stir the mixture around to combine. 4. Dip each piece of chicken into the milk…then the cheese. Press the cheese into the chicken with your fingers. Some of it will fall off when you add it to the cracker crumbs, don’t worry about it. Press the cheesy chicken into the cracker crumbs and press it in. By the time you are coating the last piece of chicken, the dish you are using for the crumbs will be full of cheese. Don’t let it get you down. Once the cheese melts in the oven it will adhere nicely to the crumbs and the crackers. 5. Spray a 9×13 pan with cooking spray and lay the chicken inside the pan. 6. Sprinkle the dried parsley over the chicken. 7. Cover the pan with tin foil and bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove the tin foil, bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the edges of the chicken are golden brown and crispy. 8. Into a medium sized sauce pan combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream and butter with a whisk. Stir it over medium high heat until the sauce is nice and hot. Serve over the chicken. 2013-05-22 02:14:24 Ronda, Spain I would love to travel to Spain, and Ronda looks beautiful. Ronda's most striking feature is the Puente Nueve, which spans a gorge over 300 feet deep. This bridge was built in 1793 and is still standing strong. The town looks picturesque and I will travel there one day! 2013-05-22 02:26:26 Visually stunning infinity edge pool with glass wall The most striking thing about this pool design is the glass wall at one end that seems to suspend visual belief. Making the infinity edge of this pool out of glass is a unique touch. I also like the contrast created by the cool grey of the concrete and the warmth of the wood. Finally, the streaming fountain coming out of the stone wall adds to this modern pool. 2013-05-22 02:24:49 Mark Wahlberg Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg is an American actor, producer, model, and former rapper.
