Beaver Brook retreat in the woods of New York State

Building trying to use surrounding the natural resources, reclaiming and reusing

Although some of these cabins in the Beaver Brook complex in Sullivan County, NY are not small the ideas behind them are in the same spirit.

This young group of New York friends have been working together to build everything from a wood fired tub to a studio space, using the natural resources around them - as well as the sleeping porch, barn, and summer cabin shown here.
