Kite surfing sensation Susi Mai has been around water and windsports from the time she was born. Her folks ran a windsurfing school and shaped boards. When she was young her family lived part time in Germany and part time in southern Italy. By age five the Mais moved to the Dominican Republic and have lived there ever since.

Within 8 months of starting kiteboarding Susi won her first competition. And since that day she has not turned back.

Her photogenic good looks makes Susi Mai a sponsors dream. She is currently sponsored by Red Bull and Cabrinha
