I've been getting tired of doing crunches to work my core, so I came across this 3 minute perfect plank workout by Bowflex. It's a phenomenal exercise that gives you the option of doing something other than a crunch to workout your abs. It takes advantage of how variable the plank can be, while still pushing you to work hard and really strengthen your core.
These are the following 6 exercises and their hold time:
- Elbow Plank = 30 sec
- Plank with Leg Raises = 30 sec
- Side Plank (right) = 30 sec
- Side Plank (left) = 30 sec
- Elbow Plank = 30 sec
- Spiderman Planks = 30 sec
When I get tired, i'm able to place my knees on the ground and rest for a bit during one of the planks, until i'm ready to go again. I'm really looking forward to seeing the progress in a few weeks from this workout!
