Hennessy is a performance company based out of Sealy, Texas. They specialize in making cars go fast... Like, stupid fast. Take for example Hennessy's own Venom GT. With a million dollar price tag this car boasts earth shattering performance figures. 0-60 mph is dealt with in just over 2 seconds, and it will keep accelerating to 275 mph (442 km/h). This performance is made possible by a twin precision ball bearing turbo charger attached to a V8 engine producing a whopping 1,244 horsepower on a light carbon fiber body. At the time of writing this the Venom GT is the fastest car in production, beating the Buggati Veyron 16.4 in both acceleration and top speed.
