I've been looking to prepare a new collection of adorable seasonal recipes for the coming fall season. When I saw the Halloween Layer Cake recipe on Delish, I knew it was just what I was looking for. This isn't too complicated of a recipe so that it allows me to have fun with it and enjoy both the presentation and the taste. It's perfect for kids who will love the RIP cookies and tasty ghosts, and great for adults who love to bake or celebrate with spooky treats!

The following ingredients were used:
FOR THE CAKE
- Cooking spray, for pans
- 1 box Devil's Food cake mix, plus ingredients called for on box
- 1 box vanilla cake mix, plus ingredients called for on box
FOR THE FROSTING
- 2 c. (4 sticks) butter, softened
- 7 c. powdered sugar, divided
- 1/2 c. whole milk
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 tsp. pumpkin spice
- Orange food colouring
FOR THE GANACHE AND ASSEMBLY
- 1 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. heavy cream
- Ghost Peeps
- Milano cookies
- Oreos, crushed
- Candy corn
- Candy pumpkins
- Sprinkles
- Candy eyeballs
