It almost looks like paradise...

Only 20000 people live in Palau. The economy there is pretty much exclusively focused on tourism, subsistence agriculture, and fishing. Most of Palau's tourism focuses on scuba diving wrecks and coral reefs. There are many efforts to conserve Palau rich and unique ecosystem, including designating the archipelago off limits to international shark fishing. Palau is also home to saltwater crocodiles.
