A modern dwelling to the rustic Boulder foothills!

The Chickadee house by Surround Architecture is located in Boulder, United States. It's a breathtaking design. The environment surrounding it gives off a beautiful feeling to it - as it's surrounded by mature trees, apple orchards, a beautiful water source, and mountain wildlife. The home seems to be made of two gabled structures, a garage and the main house, with a glazed breezeway.

I really enjoy the palette of blackened steel, limestone and timber to the exterior's clean lines. The interior creates a very rustic yet modern design, and I would love to view it in person. There's just something about houses built with beautiful timber that gives me such a great warm, homey feeling.

In the backyard, there are outdoor terraces where sounds of chickadees and historic water source create a beautiful escape. It's definitely a fave.
