The 2018 Redshift EX by Alta Motors is what I've been dreaming of. A sweet electric motorbike with motocross features, that offers sick shredding both on-road and off-road.
Alta Motors claims that the battery pack on the 2018 Redshift EX can ensure 3 hours of trail riding, with a charging time of 2.5 hours on a 240v system, and 4 hours on a 120v system. Not too bad for a great evening of silent shredding.
The design seems to be nearly the same as the Redshift MX dirt bike, but with electric features. The motor can output up to 40 horsepower and 120 foot-pounds of torque to the countershaft sprocket, nice! I would honestly love to take a ride through a wooded forest of rocky hillside with the Redshift EX.

What a seriously cool electric motorbike. If anyone is interested in checking it out, click on the source link up above!
- Better specs compared to competitors.
- Electric, green friendly.
- Quiet riding.
- Pricey.
- Need to plan time much stricter to not get suck with a dead battery.
Overall, I feel that the performance outweighs the cons. If I had the money, I'd totally buy one!
