Whitewater kayakers stand peering straight down the 350ft drop of Victoria Falls, Zambia

Two South African and one U.S. whitewater paddlers crossed the crocodile- and hippo-infested waters above the falls to scout the rapids below which these subsequently kayaked.

Victoria Falls is a mile-wide, 350-foot-high waterfall between the African nations of Zambia and Zimbabwe. Victoria Falls is the largest waterfall in the world.
